In this video recording Heather Wolfe, Curator of Manuscripts and Associate Librarian for Audience Development at the Folger Shakespeare Library, introduces some of the key online resources for learning how to read English secretary hand. She provides a very brief introduction to the most unfamiliar letterforms in the early modern alphabet and answers questions from the audience.
