Recent Studies of 18th-Century Book Illustration and Engraving, including Cartography, 1985–2016
This bibliography surveys scholarship published between 1985–2016 on engraving, including illustrations, prints, and emblems, as well as cartography, during the long eighteenth century (roughly 1650–1820). The focus is on Europe and the Americas, but some of Asian developments, particularly Japanese, have been included.
